The Head Office of the Kendra is housed in its five-storey complex. It is situated in Sector 35-B, Chandigarh, a city known worldwide as City Beautiful. The complex which was constructed at a cost of Rs. 40 lakh with financial assistance provided by the Department of Culture, Government of India, was inaugurated on 22nd February, 1989 by Sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan. The building accommodates its Administrative, Examination, Training, Performance and Research Wings, providing extensive facility for practical Training in Music, Dance and Fine Arts.
