    Pracheen Kala Kendra, in association with Triveni Kala Sangam, organized a grand musical celebration titled “Moonlight Maestros” at the Amphitheatre, Triveni Kala Sangam. The two-day event was a mesmerizing experience for music lovers, featuring renowned artists and spellbinding performances under the moonlit sky.
    The inaugural day witnessed captivating performances by Dr Shubhrodeep Pathak (Sitar) and Pandit Ronu Majumdar (Flute), setting a soulful ambience. Dr Gaurav Uppal, IAS, Resident Commissioner, Government of Telangana, New Delhi, inaugurated the event and graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Kendra’s Secretary, Shri Sajal Koser, and Director of Triveni Kala Sangam, Shri Amar Sridharani, were also present, along with many esteemed artists and dignitaries from the art world.

    The festival concluded on an equally grand note, with outstanding performances by Avinash Kumar and Rindana Rahasya (vocal duet) and the famous Burman Brothers – Madhusudan and Gopal Burman, who enthralled the audience with a brilliant Jugalbandi of Tabla and Shrikhol. The event was a resounding success, leaving music lovers with unforgettable moments of classical brilliance.

  • 11th Guru M.L. Koser Festival of Music & Dance

    After a glorious decade of remarkable performances, the 11th edition of Guru M.L. Koser Festival of Music and Dance was a resounding success, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of music lovers in the capital. Organized by Pracheen Kala Kendra at the prestigious Kamani Auditorium on 25th and 26th November 2023, the festival was a true celebration of Indian classical arts, featuring a stellar lineup of distinguished and talented artists.

    The festival witnessed soulful, mesmerizing, and incredible performances by renowned maestros, including the enthralling Vocal & Sitar duet by Debapriya Adhikary and Samanvya Sarkar, the spellbinding Odissi dance presentation by Vidushi Sujata Mohapatra and her troupe, the dynamic Drum-Violin duet by Sh. Ranjit Barot and Deepak Pandit, and the divine vocal recital by Indrani Mukherjee.

    The event’s grandeur was further elevated by the presence of esteemed personalities from the world of classical music and dance, including Eminent journalist Smt. Manjari Sinha, renowned vocalist Sunanda Sharma, Kuchipudi exponent Meenu Thakur, vocalist Uma Garg, noted vocalist Padmaja Chakraborty, Pandit Devendra Verma, classical vocalist Pandit Suresh Gandharv, senior art critic Shri Ravindra Mishra, Guru Shri Rajendra Gangani, classical vocalist Shri Amjad Ali Khan, tabla exponent Shri Fateh Singh Gangani, violinist Ustad Asghar Hussain, classical singer Mohsin Khan, and tabla maestro Vinod Lele. Their presence added a special charm to the festival, making it an unforgettable experience.
