In 2019, Pracheen Kala Kendra reached a remarkable milestone with the establishment of the PKK Art Gallery, further expanding its commitment to nurturing and promoting the arts. Located in the basement of the Kendra complex in Sector 35, Chandigarh, the gallery provides a dedicated and vibrant platform for artistic expression. The space was formally inaugurated by Sh. Diwan Manna, Chairman of Lalit Kala Akademi, marking its significance as a cultural addition to the city’s growing art ecosystem.
The PKK Art Gallery has quickly become a hub for creativity, cultural dialogue, and exchange, offering a professional setting for exhibitions, showcases, and art-related events. As a versatile space, it welcomes both established and upcoming artists to present their works, thereby bridging traditional and contemporary practices within the visual arts.
Designed to inspire and engage, the gallery serves as a creative laboratory where painting, sculpture, photography, and new media art find their rightful place. Its spacious interiors, curated displays, and visitor-friendly environment make it an attractive destination for art enthusiasts, scholars, collectors, and cultural audiences.
By providing a platform for artists of diverse genres and perspectives, the PKK Art Gallery enriches Chandigarh’s cultural landscape and strengthens the Pracheen Kala Kendra’s mission of holistic artistic growth. Beyond exhibitions, it also aims to foster a spirit of collaboration and learning through interactions, workshops, and artist-led initiatives that engage the community at large.
A symbol of artistic freedom and cultural celebration, the PKK Art Gallery continues to establish itself as one of Chandigarh’s distinguished art spaces—where tradition meets innovation and creativity finds limitless expression.
