Examination

The Kendra has the professional competence and infrastructure for holding various examinations in Indian Classical Music (both vocal & instrumental), Classical Dances and Fine Arts (Painting). It holds two examinations in a year i.e. Annual and Bi-Annual (from PP-1 to Visharad final). The Annual examinations are held during the month of December/January and Bi-Annual examinations during the month of August/September every year. The Bhaskar examinations (6th and 7th year) are held in the month of August/September each year.

The courses for the examinations have been designed and graded after careful consideration and planning in collaboration with the recognized experts so that they meet both academic and professional requirements. Weightage is also given to methodical learning upholding the highest norms and standards on the lines of universities and examination boards. All the examinations of the Kendra are conducted on a date and time notified by the Kendra as per date-sheet of examinations through affiliated centres by appointing examiners (both theory and practical) under a well-guarded arrangement employing all the safeguards necessary for conducting such professional examinations. Every year about three lakh students appeared in the various examinations conducted by the Kendra through its network of affiliated centers all over the India and abroad.

Examination Wing

The examination wing headed by Registrar comprises of Additional Registrar , Deputy Registrar , Controller of Examination in association of other supportive staff of the Kendra , is looking after the entire examination arrangement including processing of admission forms of the students received from more than 3800 affiliated centres of the Kendra scattered all over the country and abroad. Appointment of examiners, holding of Theory and Practical examinations, compilation of marks and preparation of results, issuance of certificates and diplomas, holding of Convocations of successful students of Visharad and Bhaskar at different city centres, allocation of examination centres, liaison with affiliated institutions, etc. are some of the prime functions of this wing.
