ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR (SD521) SANGEET BHUSHAN:–
A 3 Year Senior Diploma of Performing Arts in Vocal Music, Instrumental Music (Tabla/ Sitar/Harmonium) and Dance (Kathak/Bharatnatyam/Odissi)
Education Requirement:
i. Foreign applicants must have at least a Class VIII qualification.
ii. In appropriate cases taking into consideration artistic proficiency and potential of a particular candidate in his/her chosen discipline, the academic qualification can be relaxed.
English Language Requirement: Foreign applicants should have good knowledge of spoken and written English.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR (SD522) CHITRA BHUSHAN:-
A 3 Year Senior Diploma of Fine Arts in Painting
Education Requirement:
i. Foreign applicants must have at least a Class VIII qualification.
ii. In appropriate cases taking into consideration artistic proficiency and potential of a particular candidate in his/her chosen discipline, the academic qualification can be relaxed.
English Language Requirement: Foreign applicants should have good knowledge of spoken and written English.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR (UG0071) SANGEET VISHARAD (B. MUS):-
A 3 year Integrated Under Graduate Diploma of Performing Arts in Vocal Music, Instrumental Music (Tabla/ Sitar/Harmonium) and Dance (Kathak/Bharatnatyam/Odissi)
Eligibility for Admission:
i. The applicant should have Passed 10th (Secondary School Exams or equivalent from a recognized board.
ii. The applicant also must have passed Bhushan Part I & II examinations of the Kendra or equivalent examinations from any other similarly situated recognized institute in the chosen subject of Performing Arts.
English Language Requirement: Foreign applicants should have good knowledge of spoken and written English.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR (UG0072) CHITRA VISHARAD (B. FINE ARTS):-
A 3 year Integrated Under Graduate Diploma of Fine Arts in Painting.
Eligibility for Admission:
i. The applicant should have Passed 10th (Secondary School Exams or equivalent from a recognized board.
ii. The applicant also must have passed Chitra Bhushan Part I & II examinations of the Kendra or any equivalent examination from any other similarly situated recognized institute in the chosen subject of Fine Arts (Painting).

A 2 year Post Graduate Diploma of Performing Arts in Vocal Music, Instrumental Music (Tabla/ Sitar/Harmonium) and Dance (Kathak/Bharatnatyam/Odissi)
Education: Mandatory – Class XII (10+2) from a recognised Board
In addition to above, the candidate must have any one of the following qualifications:
i. Sangeet Visharad of Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh
ii. An equivalent diploma to Sangeet Visharad of PKK from any other similarly situated recognized institute or institutions of Government of India or State Government
iii. Bachelors’ Degree with the chosen subject of Performing Arts from an UGC recognized University
English Language Requirement: Foreign applicants should have good knowledge of spoken and written English
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR (PG0036) CHITRA BHASKAR:-
A 2 year Post Graduate Diploma of Fine Arts in Painting
Education: Mandatory – Class XII (10+2) from a recognised Board
In addition to above, the candidate must have any one of the following qualifications:
i. Chitra Visharad of Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh
ii. An equivalent diploma to Chitra Visharad of PKK from any other similarly situated recognized institute or institutions of Government of India or State Government
iii. Bachelors’ Degree with the chosen subject of Fine Arts (Painting) from an UGC recognized University
