Pracheen Kala Kendra organized a special cultural program, Basant Utsav, at Kukkut Bhawan, Bhopal, on 9th March. The event featured mesmerizing performances by renowned classical artists, including Vidushi Shobha Choudhary, Santoor player Ninad Adhikari, and Kathak dancer Abhilasha Tiwari. A special evening highlight was a flute jugalbandi by the esteemed Pandit Sundar Lal Karele and his son, Shrothik Karele. The event was graced by the presence of Padmashree Pandit Uma Lal Gundecha, a legendary Dhrupad vocalist, as the chief guest. Adding to the cultural vibrancy, students from Kendra’s affiliated centres in the Bhopal region also showcased their talents, making the evening a delightful celebration of Indian classical arts.
