The 11th anniversary of the prestigious annual award, instituted by Pracheen Kala Kendra to honour the creativity and tireless dedication of its visionary founders—the Koser couple—was celebrated with great fervour. This award stands as a tribute to their selfless service in nurturing and promoting Indian classical art and culture.
At a glittering ceremony held on February 28, 2015, at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh, the award was conferred upon Santoor virtuoso Padma Shri Pandit Satish Vyas for his exceptional artistic contribution to the field of Santoor playing. The event was graced by Chairman Shri S.K. Monga, Registrar Guru Shobha Koser, Secretary Shri Sajal Koser, and esteemed members of the Governing Body of Pracheen Kala Kendra.
Pandit Satish Vyas received a cash award of ₹1 lakh, along with a memento, a shawl, and a citation, in recognition of his remarkable achievements and lifelong dedication to classical music.
